Victoria Plums from Kashmir

Victoria is a classic European plum variety (Prunus domestica 'Victoria'), known for its rich flavor and versatility. In Kashmir, it's cultivated in cool, temperate regions such as Ganderbal, where the soil and climate enhance its sweetness and texture.

2. Appearance

These plums have reddish-purple to deep blue skin, sometimes with a natural bloom. The flesh ranges from greenish-amber to pink-red and becomes richer and softer when cooked. The fruit is medium to large, oval-shaped, and contains a single central stone.

3. Flavor & Texture

When fully ripe, Victoria plums are sweet, juicy, and full of classic plum flavor with very little tartness. The flesh is firm yet succulent, making them perfect for both eating fresh and for cooking.
