Mini Mandarins coming to us from North East India. They are also known as Cherry Mandarin, Tiny Tangerine, Mini Mandarin and Kishu Mandarin. It looks similar to orange. They are smaller in size, just about 2-5cm in width. Compared to oranges they are easier to peel and separate into individual bite-size sections. They can be peeled and eaten as is, added in salads, jams or even in dessert preparations. An ideal snack for children.

Mandarins are usually mistaken to be baby oranges. Did you know ? Though they may share appearance, mandarins are a different species of citrus from oranges. Unlike oranges, mandarins are not round.
