Rio Red Grapefruit (from Punjab)

These are organically grown by Mohan Pal Singh in the region of Sir Mukthar Sahib, Punjab

One of the healthiest options you can add to your diet during this time of season. Grapefruit is the original Grapefruit variety is the original Grapefruit variety brought to India. Since then many mutant varieties like Ruby Red and Star Ruby have been growing in the country.

It will be greenish on the outside and reddish on the inside

Rio Red grapefruit is preferred for its delicate sweet-tart flavor and it's lack of the characteristic bitterness found in other grapefruit varieties. 

This fruit is coming to us from Mukhtsar region of Punjab. A few farmers here got the original plant sampling (brought from California) from Pepsico nursery in the year 2004/2005. Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) later developed the Ruby varieties.
