Many of us do not prefer basmati rice in our biryani or pulav for various reasons and hence we have introduced this non-basmati biryani rice. This variety of Biryani Pulav Rice is white, long, and cylindrical shaped with a distinct aroma. This rice remains fluffy and with each grain separate from each other after cooking. Each grain of rice elongates 2-3 times on cooking but does not fatten much and is non sticky and non glutinous.
It has a delicate flavor, sweet taste and clear shiny rich look with its unique characteristic aroma and grain elongation.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place.
Uses: Perfect for that biryani or pulav preparation and with the right mix of spices, herbs and other seasonings this rice blends into a wonderful show of color, aroma and flavor. Wash and soak the rice in enough water (to cover it) for 30 mins. After 30 mins, drain the water completely, add 2.5-3 cups of fresh water (or enough to cover the rice by 2-3 inches) and put to boil.
