People have been using greens like these growing easily in their backyards before. Having been neglected, such greens like Punarnava are very hard to find these days.

this is the red variety

They're easy to grow with just some stem cuttings in abundance and are nutritious variety to add back into our diets.

They might also been known by the names Hogweed / Thazhuthama / komme soppu

Remove the hard stems and wash and use the leaves. Most commonly used in stir-fry/curry, in dhals, you can even try a chutney with it.
