Red Carrots from Shri Ganganagar Rajasthan

These carrots are grown at Sadhuwali Village in Sri Ganganagar distt of Rajasthan. Ganganagar has emerged as one of the top most carrot growing regions in the area. Few farmers are following cow based farming methodology in the region. Our organic kinnow farmer Harmanpreet Singh has procured this from his family farms - owned by his uncle Bhagwant Singh. The carrots are harvested and washed at the farm then packed into Jute bags to ensure that it gets enough ventilation and stays fresh.

and nutrients from the farm are brought to the farm from there. Other than this they use jeevamrut sprays and bio enzyme mix to ensure the organic cultivation at the farm.

We tried our hand at farming this variety locally, but did not get good results and hence had to get it from this far away.
