These Cast Iron come from Artisans from Selam, Tamilnadu. They are traditionally made by pouring melted iron into pot- shaped moulds or “casts”.
They are pre seasoned with sesame oil, heat and time, Making it easier for you to pickup and start using.
They are naturally non stick and retains heat for a long time.

- · Rub with a very light layer of any edible oil
- · Store cookware in a dry/ airy place

- · Avoid dishwasher/ Direct liquid soaps/ tamarind to wash
- · It takes a minute to get hot but then works perfectly in medium flame and retains heat for a longer period.
- · Transfer cooked food to serving dish to avoid slight change in colour.
- · Some black residue may come while wiping with cloth. It is just seasoning oil with iron leaching and perfectly normal and safe. It will disappear with regular use and care.
