Powder is made of the ground roots of the plant. It is produced from pure turmeric rhizomes. Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric, and it has powerful biological properties.

Turmeric or curcumin is fat-soluble (in contrast, it has low solubility in water), so adding a healthy source of fat (such as coconut oil or ghee) allows the curcumin to be directly absorbed into the bloodstream. Pepper Is commonly used with turmeric. Piperine, an alkaloid present in black pepper, enhances the bioavailability of turmeric.
