Amchur powder is a fruity spice powder made from dried unripe green mangoes and mostly as a citrusy seasoning.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place.
Uses: Acts as a flavoring agent, it has a honey-like fragrance and a sour fruity flavor and used in dishes where acidity is required. Ranges from snacks and chaats to parathas and subzis and even marinates on meats or soups and juices.
We add a dash of it in our Aam Panna juice!
